Come Sing with Us!

Website banner for 2024

The Peterborough Children’s Chorus has provided high quality choral singing opportunities for children and youth for over twenty years! We have performed with Journey, travelled far and wide, and collaborated with world-class artists and clinicians right here in our own backyard. This past year our junior and youth choirs were awarded gold at the Kiwanis Music Festival, presented several free public performances with audience participation, and collaborated with local artist Casandra Lee and some young newcomer Canadians to explore the theme of “home” in our spring concert.

PCC is a place to be yourself, discover your voice, and learn musical skills through play, experimentation, movement, and a wide variety of musical genres. It’s a place to make friends, gain confidence, and experience the joy of collective singing!

We rehearse Tuesday nights Septemberโ€“May (accessible downtown location to be confirmed), with two big performances each year, plus workshops and other fun adventures along the way.

Sign up for a Meet & Greet HERE

Ages 8-18. No experience required.

A โ€œMeet & Greetโ€ is a chance for us to learn a bit about your experience and vocal range so we can support your musical learning and help you sing comfortably. We will do some simple vocal and rhythm exercises, and then you can sing a song. (Any song at all! “You Are My Sunshine”… Beyoncรฉ …anything goes!) Please bring a family member or friend in with you.

After your Meet & Greet, our administrator can set you up to register for the season!

Returning families, please watch your email in late August for the registration link. We can’t wait to see you again! ๐Ÿ™‚
