Youth Choir Director
Originally from a musical family in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Anna benefitted from a strong
public music education before taking her intense love of choral singing to London, Ontario and then to the Toronto District School Board where she taught vocal music and English for eight years. She spent five years as co-owner of a local creative retail business, Watson & Lou, and began her transition back to music education in 2021. Anna is delighted to help our youth singers develop vocal techniques and choral literacy
that will translate to all their future musical, academic, and leadership endeavours. She holds a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario and teaches in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
Carolyn sang with the Peterborough Children’s Chorus for 16 years. After graduating from the choir she joined the Board of Directors and in 2019 took on the role of administrator for the choir. Carolyn will be around all rehearsals and choir events helping in the background. She is excited to enter another year with the choir and cannot wait to meet all of your choristers in person!
